You take a product from a sketch to a working prototype, and then to something we can actually manufacture. One week you are routing a PCB in KiCad. The next you are on your third print of a housing because the fit was half a millimetre off. The week after you are writing the firmware that ties it all together. If you own a soldering iron and a 3D printer and you use both, we should talk.
What you'll do
- Design schematics and PCBs in KiCad, from first concept to production files
- Model housings, brackets and jigs in CAD and print them yourself
- Write and debug firmware in C or C++ on Nordic nRF, ESP32 or STM32
- Bring up new boards: first power-up, first blink, first radio link
- Build test fixtures so we catch bad boards before they reach a customer
- Choose components, check availability and keep the BOM buildable
- Sit down with clients and work out what the product actually has to do
You are
- A few years of hands-on work across hardware and firmware, or fewer years and a workshop full of things you have built
- KiCad, Altium or similar. You can read a datasheet and draw a schematic from it
- At home in CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape) and behind a 3D printer
- C or C++ on microcontrollers, plus Python for tooling and scripts
- You debug with a scope and a logic analyser instead of guessing
- You finish things. A drawer of half-built projects is normal. A drawer of only half-built projects is not
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Living in or near Delft
Nice to have, not required
- You have had a board built in volume and know what design for manufacturing costs you
- RF and antenna work, or the patience to learn it properly
- CE marking, EMC pre-compliance or lab testing
- Production processes beyond printing: injection moulding, sheet metal, CNC
- The cloud side: MQTT, REST, a dashboard when a project asks for one

As an Embedded Software Engineer you work on firmware for new and existing IoT products. You work closely with our hardware engineers and software developers, and you are involved across the whole development process.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain embedded software in C or C++
- Work with microcontrollers such as Nordic nRF, STM32 or similar
- Implement and debug drivers, communication stacks and application logic
- Work alongside hardware engineers during board bring-up and debugging
- Think along about architecture, performance and power consumption
- Test and validate firmware on real hardware
- Document your code and the technical choices behind it
You are
- Zero to a few years of experience with embedded software development
- Good knowledge of C and/or C++, plus Python
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, peripherals and embedded debugging
- Interest in hardware and low-level software
- You work in a structured way and you want to keep learning
- You can work on your own but actively seek out collaboration
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Living in or near Delft
Nice to have, not required
- Experience with an RTOS such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS
- Experience with low-power design
- Experience with wireless communication such as BLE, LoRa or NB-IoT
- Experience with Git and modern development tools

We're looking for a working student in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science who wants hands-on experience building connected products that ship worldwide.
What you'll do
- Prototype sensor nodes on Nordic nRF52/ESP32 and write clean, low-power C/C++ or Python
- Spin simple PCBs in KiCad and bring them up in our lab
- Build data pipelines from device to cloud (MQTT/REST) and deploy micro-services to Azure IoT Hub
- Help develop our AI-driven sport-performance wearable and next-gen track-&-trace beacon
- Debug hardware in the field, capture traces, script analyses, and present findings
- Collaborate with industrial design on 3D-printed housings or jump into dashboard front-ends
You are
- Enrolled in a BSc/MSc EE, Embedded Systems, or CS at a Dutch university
- Comfortable with C/C++ and at least one scripting language
- Familiar with basic lab gear (multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering iron) or eager to learn fast
- Available 8–16 h/week in Delft; we respect exam periods
- Curious, proactive, and not afraid to take things apart
- Solid portfolio of DIY projects or things you've built
A full-time internship across our product development disciplines. You'll work on real client projects alongside senior engineers, from embedded firmware to industrial design and cloud infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Work on embedded software for ultra-low-power IoT devices (Nordic nRF5, ESP32)
- Assist with PCB schematic design and layout in KiCad
- Contribute to industrial design and 3D-printed rapid prototypes
- Build and test cloud integrations (Azure IoT Hub, MQTT, REST APIs)
- Help with automated test fixtures and quality assurance
- Present your work and findings to the team and clients
You are
- BSc/MSc student in EE, CS, Embedded Systems, Industrial Design, or related field
- Strong interest in IoT, embedded systems, or product development
- Hands-on mentality, you like building things
- Available full-time for 4–6 months in Delft
- Basic programming skills (C/C++, Python, or JavaScript)
- Portfolio of projects, coursework, or side projects is a plus
Looking for a challenging graduation project? We offer thesis topics at the intersection of embedded systems, sensor fusion, TinyML, and IoT product development. Work on real products with publication-worthy research potential.
What you'll do
- Define and execute a research project aligned with our product roadmap
- Develop novel embedded algorithms: sensor fusion, TinyML, ultra-low-power optimization
- Prototype and validate your work on real hardware in our lab
- Integrate findings into production firmware or cloud infrastructure
- Write your thesis with guidance from both academic and industry supervisors
- Present results internally and contribute to potential publications
You are
- MSc student in EE, CS, Embedded Systems, or related field at a Dutch university
- Strong theoretical foundation in your area of specialization
- Experience with embedded C/C++, Python, or MATLAB
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Available full-time for 6–9 months
- Curiosity to bridge academic research with practical product development
