IoT App & Cloud Development

Mobile apps, web portals, and IoT cloud backends for connected products.

A connected product needs a connected backend. The hardware collects data, but without a cloud platform to receive, store, process, and display it, that data goes nowhere. We build the full software stack: mobile apps, web portals, IoT cloud backends, and the ML pipelines that turn raw telemetry into something operators can use.

    What We Build

    Mobile Applications

Cross-platform iOS & Android apps in React Native. Device onboarding, real-time data visualisation, push notifications, and user account management.

    IoT Cloud Backend

Agnostic IoT stack with device connectivity, telemetry storage, REST API, OTA, and a data pipeline ready for downstream ML inference. Scales from a 50-device pilot to 50,000 in production.

    Web Portals & Dashboards

React and Next.js portals with device maps, health dashboards, alert management, and firmware update controls.

    Our Cloud Development Approach

Our cloud architect works alongside the embedded engineers who write the device firmware. The API between device and cloud is designed with the constraints of both sides in mind. Message payload structures are optimised for bandwidth-constrained cellular connections. Authentication flows work within the limitations of resource-constrained MCUs. The cloud system is designed as one coherent system with the hardware, not bolted on after.

    Edge ML and Data Platforms

Some IoT products are smarter when the intelligence sits on the device, not only in the cloud. We build trackers that run lightweight ML models on board: activity classification, anomaly detection, schedulers that decide when a measurement is worth taking. Hardware, firmware and model are designed together, so the device only sends data that actually matters.

    • Lightweight inference on nRF91-series MCUs and other low-power targets
    • Sensor fusion and time-series classification trained on real field data
    • Multi-tenant cloud platforms to ingest, store and serve the telemetry
    • Explainable outputs (SHAP, decision logs) so operators can trust what the device says
    • AI Act readiness for limited-risk industrial systems

    Security by Design

IoT security is not a feature: it is a foundation. Our implementations include device identity management with unique certificates per device, encrypted transport (TLS 1.2+), secure OTA with cryptographic signature verification, and role-based access control.

    From Prototype to Production

We can build a minimal viable cloud system quickly, enough to run a pilot, and scale it to production infrastructure as volumes grow. We do not over-engineer early-stage projects, but build them so they do not require a full rewrite when you hit 10,000 devices.
