PCB Design Services

Custom PCB design for IoT and connected products. From napkin sketch to production-ready board.

A circuit board is the heart of every connected product. At Insyght, our PCB design engineers take your concept (whether it is a napkin sketch, a block diagram, or a partially developed schematic) and turn it into a manufacturable, certifiable, production-ready board. We specialise in IoT hardware: low-power designs, RF-heavy layouts, multi-sensor platforms, and edge computing boards.

Our PCB design capability covers the full range of connected electronics, from simple single-layer sensor boards to complex multi-layer assemblies with integrated wireless modules, power management, and on-board processing.

    Our PCB Design Process

    1

    Requirements & architecture review

Before opening a schematic tool, we align on power budget, target BOM cost, certification requirements, and mechanical constraints. Early decisions here prevent expensive respins later.

    2

    Schematic capture

Full schematic design in collaboration with you, selecting components through our global supply chain network (Mouser, DigiKey, LCSC). Optimised for performance and availability.

    3

    PCB layout

Component placement through routing, copper pours, and design rule checks. RF layouts receive particular attention: impedance-matched traces, antenna keep-out zones, and shielding strategies built in from the start.

    4

    Design for Manufacture (DFM) review

DFM analysis to catch pad issues, clearance violations, and assembly constraints. Our presence in Shenzhen means we know exactly what factories can handle.

    5

    Prototype & iteration

Prototype PCB production, bring-up, debugging, and design iterations through to a verified, stable design ready for volume production.
